Oryn is a Legal Practice Management System — the central software that runs a law firm. In one product, it replaces what most firms buy from five to eight separate vendors: case management, document storage, PDF editing, e-signature, pleadings generation, trial preparation, discovery management, and trust accounting.
The integration thesis
The problem Oryn solves is not that any of those tools are individually bad. Clio, MyCase, Dropbox Sign, Adobe Acrobat, LawPay, Everlaw — they each do their one job well. The problem is that they don’t share a matter spine. Every tool is its own database, its own export format, its own login.
Oryn is the opposite. Every module writes to the same matter record. When your intake form creates a new client, your calendar automatically holds the scheduling data, your pleading generator knows the client’s information, your e-signature tool knows the matter’s documents, and your billing engine knows the time you’ve put in.
What’s live today
Oryn is shipping in production for two verticals in Washington State:
- Dependency — the only LPMS purpose-built for dependency practice
- Family Law — with 49+ WA mandatory forms on pleading paper
Three more verticals are on the roadmap:
- Criminal Law
- Trusts & Estates
- General Litigation
